I stood and stared at an old home, a place where life used to dwell. I watched as material memories were placed in U-haul trucks and trash bins, leaving the home empty, still standing waiting to receive and collect more memories that connect the endless loop of the living and departed. Death sweeps over life like a plague, some fear it while others embrace it. Life moves on, life stands still and in a blink of an eye the last breath flees, leaving all materialistic and precious possessions behind. The importance of living belongs to the moment and the memories we share with others.
